Difference between woven and knit fabric

Fiber: It is defined as one of the delicate,hair portions of the tissues of a plant or animal or other substances that are very small in diameter in relation to there length .A fiber is a material which hundred times as long as its thick.  

  Yarn: A continuous linear strand of fiber assembly ,either twisted or not.
  Fabric : Assembly of yarn by interlacing , intermeshing/interlooping or fusing/non-woven process to make a sheet like structure.
or
A cloth made by weaving,knitting or felting fibers.

v There are four types of fabric.
 1.Woven fabric
 2.Knit fabric
    3.     Non-woven fabric
 4.Braid fabric 

   Difference between woven and knit fabric: 

        Woven  Fabric                                    Knit Fabric

Woven fabric is produced by interlacing.
Knit fabric is produced by interlooping.
It is produced to need 2 set of yarn.
It is produced to need 1 set of yarn.
It is dimentional structure stability more than knit.
It is dimentional structure stability less than woven.
It is elongation less than knit fabric .
It is elongation more than woven fabric.
It is air permeability less than Knit fabric.
It is air permeability more than woven.
It is durability high.
 It is durability less
